Abstract
With the increasing proportion of renewable energy in the new power system, the energy interaction process between distributed generation units, microgrids and energy storage systems is becoming more and more complex. How to improve the integration and reduce the operation cost through the coordinated control of virtual power plants and promote the development of new power systems is a problem that needs to be solved. Firstly, an improved cost minimization model of virtual power plant is proposed in this paper. An objective function including configuration cost, maintenance cost and operation cost is constructed to meet the constraints of voltage and power and optimize the configuration and operation plan of distributed generation, energy storage system and microgrid in virtual power plant. Secondly, the relevant parameters in the standard particle swarm optimization algorithm are adjusted adaptively to improve the iteration speed and convergence accuracy of the algorithm. Finally, the proposed model is applied to an actual commercial load, and three simulation cases are set up with different decision-making requirements. The simulation results show that the proposed method can better balance the configuration and operation costs of virtual power plant components and create a reliable, economical, efficient and environmentally friendly distribution system.
