Abstract
In 2021, wind power and photovoltaic power generation in China will account for about 11% of the total social electricity consumption, and it is planned to gradually increase the proportion of wind power and photovoltaic power generation in the future development and reduce the overall proportion of thermal power generation. China plans to increase the proportion of new energy by 2025, gradually achieve "carbon neutral", gradually increase the number of wind power installed in China, and adhere to the centralized cooperation with distributed development. In this paper, an improved four-unit two-zone system with a direct drive fan unit is built in the Simulink simulation environment. By establishing different fault modules, the dynamic characteristics and "virtual" power angle characteristics of the fan system under high voltage ride-through under different fault conditions are studied, and the transient stability of the system as a whole is studied by studying the "virtual" power angle of the phase-locked loop (PLL). The simulation results of the test system show that: (1) The longer the fault duration, the worse the transient stability of the system. Among the fault types, the single-phase ground fault fault depth is shallow, and the transient stability of the system is better. When the fault occurs at the midpoint of the line, the transient stability of the system is high. (2) With the gradual decrease of damping and bandwidth of the phaselocked loop, the transient stability of the system is smaller. (3) When different fault types occur in the grid-side converter, a high-voltage ride-through occurs after the low-voltage ride-through of the fault phase, while only a high-voltage ridethrough occurs in the non-fault phase.
