We present the optical design of a highly miniaturized, wide-angle camera, which acquires a large field of view of 110° and offers an ultra-thin appearance with a z - height of less than 1 mm. This combination is achieved by means of multiaperture imaging. The implemented demonstrator contains a double-sided, refractive freeform array combined with a baffle array, which prevents optical crosstalk between the multiple optical channels. Both components are aligned in front of a CMOS sensor. |
