Abstract
This article is dedicated to interface devices for all-optical synchronization of optical backbone and subscriber line network segments. It is obvious that this type of devices must be all-optical. Due to the importance of phaselock loop (PLL) circuits essential for each telecommunication device an all-optical circuit has been suggested which fundamental principle of operability is in phase cross-modulation effect between tuned and strobe optical signals. Physical parameters of the circuit and time of PLL execution have been calculated. It is shown that this response time is suitable for highspeed devices.
