Abstract
The temperature rise measurement of transformer winding is one of the main items of transformer factory and preventive test. Most of the existing transformer winding temperature rise measuring devices are designed and measured according to the thermal resistance method specified in the transformer test standard. However, due to the inherent properties of power transformer, it takes a long time to measure the DC resistance of the transformer winding. Considering the particularity of transformer DC resistance measurement, the value of transformer winding inductance is estimated, and the resistance is inserted in series in the measurement circuit to reduce the time constant of the circuit, so as to achieve the purpose of fast measurement. Based on this method, an automatic measurement system for temperature rise detection is developed and the temperature rise is accurately measured.
