Abstract
Smart learning is an important means of foreign language learning in the era of education informatization 2.0. Smart Learning of Foreign Languages (SLFL) is based on students' metacognition, multiple intelligence, and meaning construction. With the support of information technology, teachers, students, learning resources and the learning environment are interrelated and interact with each other to form the framework of SLFL. Under the guidance of this framework, five paths of SLFL are constructed, namely: personalized learning, learning from crowds, learning in the real-life context, embodied learning, and blended learning, and a case study was implemented to examine the effect of SLFL.
