Abstract
Most of the new generation aero engines are designed to operate at high pressure to obtain higher thermodynamic efficiency, and the demand for the study of combustion processes in high pressure environment has promoted the development of combustion diagnostic technology. As a fast and non-invasive measurement technique, TDLAS has been widely used in combustion diagnostics in recent years. At present, the research of combustion diagnosis based on TDLAS is mainly carried out in atmospheric pressure environment. In order to study TDLAS combustion diagnosis technology in high pressure combustion environment, there is an urgent need to provide a laboratory high pressure combustion device. To address this problem, a set of positive-pressure combustion flame furnace system was designed independently with high-precision control. The system is mainly based on the high-performance STM32 embedded system and McKenna flat-flame burner. Through fuel injection control and pressure control etc, the system realizes continuous control of fuel flow rate from 8 L/min to 30 L/min and pressure between 0.1 MPa and 0.7 MPa. The stability and accuracy have been improved prominently compared with other studies. In addition, the high-pressure combustion flame furnace also has automatic ignition control and overpressure protection control functions, which greatly improves the usability and safety of the laboratory high-pressure flame furnace and provides technical support for the development of TDLAS high-pressure combustion diagnostic research.
