Abstract
Based on the principle and system model of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing with index modulation (OFDM-IM) technology, the performance of Maximum Likelihood (ML) detection algorithm and Logarithmic Likelihood Ratio (LLR) detection algorithm are compared by matlab simulation modeling analysis, and the computational complexity is presented. At the same time, the effects of different number of subcarriers, different activator carriers, different modulation modes and different modulation orders on the performance of system bit error rate are analyzed. Following the principle of mutual conversion of validity and reliability, it provides a reference basis for the compromise between the spectrum efficiency and the system performance.
