Abstract
In recent years, as short video content has been recognized by the public and the popularity of short video emerging ways to improve, short video playback technology is faced with a variety of device models, complex audio and video streaming transmission, sensitive network environment, and other status quo. The traditional short video function based on native development has been unable to effectively deal with some specific video playback scenarios, especially not for "enterprise-level" mobile comprehensive short video needs. In this paper, the solution is based on HTML5 technology to achieve lightweight short video playback, through the design of multi-player mechanism, to solve the traditional HTML5 single-player lack of preloading capabilities, so that the application has the same user experience as the native video player, but also through the HTML5 way to achieve the flexibility of the application release. Finally, this solution realizes a lightweight short video playback solution based on the multi-player preloading mechanism, improves the smoothness of short video playback and conducts a comparative analysis with the existing solutions, which verifies the simplicity and flexibility of the solution proposed in this paper.
