Abstract
Under the background of the growing trend of load-side resources participating in the market, a modeling method for power system scheduling optimization considering load-side resources is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the flexibility requirements of the system are determined based on the range of load fluctuations. Secondly, different types of adjustable resources on both the generation side and the load side are modeled. Finally, a flexibility assessment model is obtained by modifying the security constrained unit commitment model. This approach allows for the modeling of load-side flexibility resources and quantifying their flexibility provision capabilities. The effectiveness of this modeling approach is demonstrated through case studies.
