Abstract
In this paper, a LoRa network protocol based on CSMA/CA access mechanism and asynchronous downlink mode is proposed for the communication problem in the LoRa network according to the star network model. The protocol aims to improve LoRa network performance, reduce the risk of node conflicts, and achieve stable and efficient data transmission. In this paper, the network parameters of the protocol are determined, and the protocol mechanism, backoff algorithm, and asynchronous downlink mode are designed. The performance improvement of the improved protocol in terms of normalized throughput, communication collision rate, average communication delay is verified through simulation analysis. In the case of 150 nodes competing for the channel at the same time, this protocol has a better performance compared to the original protocol, which can improve the throughput, reduce the communication collision by 11% and reduce the delay by 83ms.
