Abstract
When the parameters of material or size of structure are uncertain, the optimization result of the structure will also be uncertain. In this paper, interval mathematics is used to define the uncertain parameters, and the optimal mathematical model of the uncertain problem is established. The interval objective function with respect to the uncertain structural parameters is transformed into a deterministic function and the deterministic constraints are obtained from the uncertain interval finite element structural equation. The sparrow search algorithm is used to solve the uncertain structural optimization problem, chaos algorithm is adopted in order to enhance global search capability. The feasibility is proved by the example provided.
