Abstract
The dynamic characteristics of the tank directly affect the vibration response and its noise radiation of the transformer. In order to avoid resonance in the frequency band of vibration source, it is necessary to accurately simulate the dynamic characteristics of the tank. In this paper, the structural mode and acoustic-structure coupling mode of the tank are simulated by finite element method, and the influence of insulating oil on the dynamic characteristics of the tank is analyzed. Meanwhile, the natural frequencies and the mode shapes of the tank are tested. The results show that the insulating oil can make the dynamic characteristics of the tank change significantly, and the coupling mode simulation is consistent with the test, which verifies the effectiveness of the acoustic- structure coupling method for the analysis of dynamic characteristics of the transformer tank.
