Abstract
Formula racing for college students does not simply emphasize speed, but should comprehensively consider safety, reliability, economy and controllability. Honda's single cylinder engine is selected as the power system of the racing car, and the frame adopts a new steel pipe truss structure. The engine model, transmission system model, braking system model, steering system model, suspension model, frame model, aerodynamic kit model and seat model are established through 3D modeling software, and the final assembly is carried out. At present, the car has been successfully developed and successfully participated in the China College Formula Auto Competition, and its power, fuel economy, braking and other comprehensive performances have been greatly improved.
