The stressed GeGa photoconductor is sensitive up to 200/tm, which is the longest stress shifted cut-off wavelength. However evidence of a residual response up to 1 mm was found by carrying Fourier Transform Spectroscopy measurements. In the present experiment conventional microwave sources in the range 1-3 mm wavelength were used to illuminate the sample with an incident power of the order of a few microwatts. The microwave photoconductive response is studied as a function of the applied stress.
