Abstract

Based on a conventional acousto-optic tunable filter AOTF we present a RF filter idea. The filtering transfer function is controlled using a electric DC field by the electro-optic effect.The tuning is in such a way that the resolution and bandwidth are functions of the acousto and electro-optic interactions parameters.
