Abstract
Analysis of recovering optical bit pulses in digital fiber links by specially designed traveling-wave single-mode semi-conductor structures is developed. Two types of multilayer structures are revealed and investigated analytically and via computer simulations. Applications lie in creating all-optical regenerators of picosecond soliton-like bit carriers.
