Abstract
Geometrical parameters of a laser cavity with annular configuration are calculated and presented in this paper. They concern, in particular, the position and the orientation of the four mirrors of this resonator, among which two are plans and two are spherical and cofocal, of 2 m of curvature radius. Three are coplanar and fourth raised 16.1 cm height. The optical aberration calculation allows determining the maximal diameter of reflectors. Besides, the analysis based on their orientation showed that the field suffered an unwanted rotation of angle 2°36', which is corrected by means of a Faraday rotator of 3.72 cm thickness subjected to a magnetic field of intensity 0.1 T.
