Abstract
The precision of the laser optic gyro north-finder was influenced by kinds of errors. The main static error which includes the drift of gyroscope, incline measurement error, mounting error, position transformation error and the time delay were analyzed based on the four-position north-finding scheme, and effect model of all errors, and the simulation was carried out based on the study above. Simulation result indicates that the most important impact fact is the precision of the gyroscope, and the second is the time delay, and the influence of the position transformation error and mounting error both are bigger than that of the incline measurement error. Based on the study of the errors, the scheme which was used to improve the precision of the north-finder was advanced and the time delay compensation method was expatiated specially, and the simulation was carried out to validate the effectiveness of the scheme. Simulation result shows that the scheme can improve the precision of the north-finder.
