Abstract
A novel motion target detection method based on the Fourier descriptors of the fractal edge is presented in this paper, The blanket covering fractal method is used to detect the edge features of targets in the high scale, and get binarization of the features with the maximum entropy threshold segmentation, through labeling targets and removing small area noise targets, then extract the elliptic Fourier descriptors of targets shape, cumulating the descriptors of multi-frame targets, the frequency of Fourier descriptors can decide which one is the moving target and which is not.
