Abstract
Ultrasonography has become a valuable tool for the assessment and management of a number of obstetrical problems. This communication describes the diagnostic capabilities of the currently available units and the use of ultrasonography as an essential component of amniocentesis, intrauterine transfusion, and fetoscopy.
