Dr. Do is with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Department of Mathematics at the University of Connecticut as an Adjunct Professor. He received his Master and PhD degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Connecticut. He was a member of the International Society for Optical Engineering (SPIE), the Optical Society of America (OSA) and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). His teaching areas include data mining, modeling and signal processing. His research interests are areas of digital signal processing, digital image processing, image reconstruction, pattern recognition, remote sensing, medical imaging, data mining and prediction modeling. He has been the reviewer for several journals, such as Optic Express, IEEE Journal of Display Technology, The Imaging Science Journal (Royal Photographic Society), Journal of Electromagnetic Waves and Applications, Progress in Electromagnetic Research.
