Profile Summary

He received my Ph.D. degree from 'Tsinghua University', China and is working as a postdoctoral researcher in Virginia Tech, USA. He got postdoctoral research fellowship from 'The Hong Kong Polytechnic University(PolyU)', Hong Kong, and then worked as a Senior Research Engineer in Nano and Advanced Materials Institute Ltd(Nami), Hong Kong, a research institute funded by Hong Kong Government. Since 2014, he is working as a postdoctoral researcher in Virginia Tech, USA. He published 20 journal papers in top optical journals and 15 reference papers.
He dedicated in scientific research work on novel optical fiber design, photonic crystal fiber, novel optical fiber devices, optical calculation algorithm and optical signal demodulation. His research interesting involved Long Periods Fiber Gratings (LPGs), micro-fabrications on micro-structure fibers, micro/nano fibers fabrications, designing of various optical interferometry on various novel optical fibers, optical simulations(finite element method, FDTD method, BPM method etc. ) and optical signal demodulations.
