Muhammad Hassan Bin Afzal received his B.Sc degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) from
AIUB, Bangladesh. He got his Post-Graduate degree in Optical Engineering techniques from University of Nottingham, UK. He earned an M.S. in Information Technology from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He worked in Bangladesh, India, England and Malaysia in various research projects. Currently, he is working as a Lecturer at Faculty of Science Engineering and Technology (FSET), University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC), Bangladesh. He effectively participated in more than ten international conferences and also won awards for his paper presentation. He also published his research findings and model studies in international reputed journals. His research interests are Magneto-Optical Photonic Band Gap structures (MO-PBG), Fiber Optic Sensors (FOS), Structural Health Monitoring (SHM), Sustainable application of FOS technology in Water Resources management and application of PDMS materials in sensors.
