Abstract
Optical fiber ultrasonic sensor has a wide application prospect in the field of structural health monitoring, and its sensitivity and anti-interference ability make it attracted attention in many fields such as aerospace, transportation, medical treatment and so on. In order to improve the performance of fiber optic ultrasonic senso r, a structure design method of multi-arm suspended elastic diaphragm fiber optic ultrasonic sensor is presented in this paper. The sensitive unit of the sensor adopts a suspended elastic diaphragm structure, which has a high sensitivity and can effectively improve the measurement accuracy of the ultrasonic sensor. Firstly, the working principle of fiber optic ultrasonic sensor is analyzed, and the design idea of multi-arm suspended elastic diaphragm structure is described. Secondly, through theoretical analysis and simulation research, the superior performance of the multi-arm suspended elastic diaphragm fiber optic ultrasonic sensor is verified. Compared with the traditional diaphragm type fiber optic ultrasonic sensor, the multi-arm suspended elastic diaphragm fiber optic ultrasonic sensor has higher sensitivity, anti-interference ability and reliability. Finally, the feasibility and prospect of the sensor in practical application are discussed, and its extensive application potential in the field of structural health monitoring is pointed out. This study provides a theoretical basis for the structure and performance optimization of fiber optic ultrasonic sensor and its practical application.
