A single lamp controller based on Narrowband Internet of Things (NB-IoT) is designed to facilitate the problems of lack of intelligence and single control mode in the traditional street lamp control system. With MCU and NB-IoT communication module as the core, the controller realizes remote control and operation status detection of the lamp. With the combination of sensors and real-time clock (RTC) to achieve three control modes of manual control, light intensity based control and multi-period dimming control, the controller is suitable for a wide range of application scenarios. The controller's operating parameters are stored locally, thus avoiding loss of control of street lamps due to loss of operating data in the event of network disconnection or power-off recovery. The experimental results are shown to verify that the controller functions properly and can meet the needs for intelligent control for urban street lighting.
